Liubomyr started his soccer education in native town of Nadvornaya (Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine). His first coach is Bohdan Gelevich.
Liubomyr played for FC Polesye, FC Volyn and FC Gazovik-Skala.
In July 2007 moved to FC Lviv where he played for 3 seasons.
In February 2011 moved to FC Gelios. After playing two seasons with FC Gelios Liubomyr moved to FC Titan.
In January 2014 it was mutually agreed between the club and the player that contract is terminated.
After that he plays for FC Lapaevka and FC Nikolaev.
In July 2015 signed a contract with FC Veres but left the club in February 2016 and moved to Canada to play for FC Ukraine United.
Early in 2017 signed a contract with Canadian Soccer League (CSL) expansion team – FC Vorkuta and became the Canadian Soccer League regular season champion.
Liubomyr is a Vice-Captain of FC Vorkuta.
